YOU’VE DONE THE STUDY BUT STILL NEED THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE EMPLOYERS DEMAND
As a new international engineering, accounting or ICT graduate it can be challenging to find full-time professional employment in Australia.
Even though you are qualified and have the right to work, employers expect you to have practical knowledge and relevant work experience so that you can work effectively from your first day on the job. Further, international research** confirms that employers are looking for more than just a qualification. They prefer candidates who:
demonstrate strong business communication skills
fit in with the company culture
have confidence, show initiative and can work alone or as part of a team.
