When you come to Australia as a Student, you need to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) which covers your medical expenses during your entire tenure of stay and study in the country. A student needs to apply it beforehand stepping into Australian border. The Department of Home Affairs in the country needs you to maintain your health cover the entire duration of your stay here.
