- If an applicant is onshore, they should be holding a substantive visa or BVA, BVB, or BVC.
- Applicants must have complied with their previous visa conditions.
- Applicant’s occupation must be in the short-term occupation list.
- Applicant must have a positive skill assessment if it is required for their occupation and not exempted.
- Applicant must be nominated by an approved Standard Business Sponsor.
- Applicant of a 482 visa in the short-term stream must have at least 2 years’ experience in their nominated occupation.
- Applicant must have adequate health insurance.
- Applicant must meet the character requirement.
- Unless exempted, applicants must satisfy English proficiency requirements.
