If you are an international student, don’t get caught out with the 48 hours a fortnight work limitation on your student visa subclass 500.

Unlimited Working Rights on Student Visa Subclass 500 finish 30th June 2023.
From 1st July 2023 Student Visa Subclass 500 holders would have working rights of 48 hours a fortnight.
International Students holding a student visa subclass 500 already working in the aged care sector on 9th May 2023 can work an unlimited number of hours until 31st December 2023.
Master’s degree by Research or Doctoral Degree students have unlimited working rights once they have started their study.
IMPORTANT: It is very important to remember that your working rights are only after you have started your course.
