Victoria’s Skilled Migration Program 2024-25 – Now Open
The 2024–25 Skilled Migration Program for Victoria is open now. It offers visa nominations for two
following visas: the Skilled Nomination subclass 190 visa and the Skilled Work subclass 491 Regional visa.
Key Details:
- Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190):
Permanent residency visa.
Permits you to live and work anywhere in Victoria. - Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491):
A provisional visa valid for 5 years.
Provides a way to permanent residency after living and working in regional Victoria for at least 3
years.
Application Process:
Submit or update an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the Australian Government’s
SkillSelect.
Afterward, submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) to be evaluated for Victorian skilled visa
nomination.
Allocation for 2024–25:
The Australian Government has issued 5,000 skilled visa nomination places to Victoria for the 2024–25
program.
Victoria’s allocation:
Subclass 190: 3,000 places.
Subclass 491: 2,000 places.
